ReddyBook Sports Betting - Beyond Cricket

Cricket is what most people open a ReddyBook ID for, but the same login has a Football tab, a Tennis tab and several more. Each sport behaves differently on an exchange. Football prices barely move for twenty minutes and then jump on a goal. Tennis prices move on every point. Kabaddi markets are lively but small. This page goes sport by sport so you know what to expect before you put money in. No account yet? See how to get a ReddyBook ID. For back and lay basics with full worked examples, read the cricket exchange betting page first. The live casino games sit under the same ID too.

✨ What Changes When You Leave the Cricket Tab

The screen looks the same. Blue back prices, pink lay prices, a bet slip that shows your profit or liability. What changes is everything around it.

There is often a third outcome. A cricket match odds market has two teams. A football match has three selections: home, draw, away. That means laying one team is no longer the same as backing the other, because the draw sits in between. Tennis and badminton go back to two outcomes, and a horse race can have fifteen.

There are usually no session lines. The Yes/No fancy markets that fill a cricket screen mostly do not exist here. Football has Over/Under goals instead, which is a proper back and lay market with decimal odds. For most other sports you get match odds and little else.

Money in the market varies a lot. A Premier League game on a Saturday night or a Grand Slam semi-final will match a ₹5,000 bet without fuss. A second-division match or an early-round Challenger may not match ₹500 at the price on screen. Before you bet, look at the amounts shown under the prices. If they are tiny, getting in is easy and getting out may not be.

One practical point. Much of world sport runs on European or American time. Champions League nights kick off at 12.30 am or 1.30 am in India, and the US Open runs through our early morning. Agents are often asleep then, so if you need a deposit added for a late match, sort it out in the evening.

⚽ Football Betting on ReddyBook

Football is the busiest sport on the panel after cricket. It is low scoring, so prices drift slowly with the clock and then move sharply when a goal goes in.

🏆 Match Odds (Home, Draw, Away)

Three selections, each with back and lay prices. Roughly one in four top-league matches ends level, so do not ignore the draw. Settlement is on 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties in a cup tie do not count, which catches people out every knockout season. If your team wins on penalties, your match odds back bet on them has lost, because the 90-minute result was a draw.

🎯 Over/Under Goals

The 2.5 line is the main one: three goals or more is Over, two or fewer is Under. The half goal means there is never a tie. This market has a built-in clock. If Under 2.5 is 1.90 at kick-off and nobody has scored after half an hour, it might be around 1.55, simply because there is less time left. Under backers earn slowly and lose suddenly. Over backers are the reverse.

✅ Both Teams to Score

A Yes/No market with decimal odds. It is usually offered on the bigger leagues only. Once one side has scored, the Yes price shortens quickly, because only one more team needs a goal. Be careful with matches where one side is a very heavy favourite. A 4-0 result is a common way for a Yes bet to lose.

🎲 Correct Score & Handicap

Correct score pays well, 1-1 is often around 7.0 and 2-1 around 9.0, because it is hard to get right. Treat it as an occasional small bet, not a plan. Handicap lines give one team a head start such as +0.5 or −1.5. They are useful when a favourite is too short to back on match odds, but they appear only on selected matches and the money in them is thin.

⏱ Half-Time Markets

Some matches carry a separate first-half result or first-half goals market. First halves are tighter than second halves, since noticeably more goals come after the break, so the first-half draw is often the shortest price. These markets settle at the half-time whistle, which suits anyone who does not want to stay up till 3 am.

⚡ Betting During the Match

Markets suspend for goals, penalties, red cards and VAR checks, sometimes for a minute or more. Your stream is usually 20 to 60 seconds behind the stadium, so if a market suddenly locks, something has already happened. Do not try to beat the feed. Decide before kick-off what you will do if your team scores first and what you will do if they concede.

A worked example: laying the draw

This is the best-known football exchange play, and it shows how the third outcome matters. Before kick-off the draw is 3.40. You lay it for ₹500. Your liability is 500 × 2.40 = ₹1,200. If the match ends with any winner, you keep ₹500.

A goal goes in after 30 minutes and the draw price drifts to about 4.50. You now back the draw for ₹378.

  • Match ends in a draw: −₹1,200 on the lay, +₹1,323 on the back. Net about +₹123.
  • Match has a winner: +₹500 on the lay, −₹378 on the back. Net +₹122.

Now the caveat. If no goal comes, the draw price only gets shorter as the minutes pass, and a 0-0 costs you the full ₹1,200. An early goal by the underdog can also leave the price nearly unchanged, because the favourite is now expected to equalise. It is a reasonable approach, not free money, and commission comes off the winning side.

🌎 Usually listed: English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Indian Super League, and the World Cup, Euros, Copa America and AFC Asian Cup when they are on. Smaller domestic leagues appear too, with much less money in their markets.

🥊 Kabaddi Betting on ReddyBook

Pro Kabaddi League season is when this tab comes alive. A match is 40 minutes, points come on almost every raid, and a lead can vanish in two minutes.

🏆 Match Winner

The main market, and on many matches the only one. Prices are often set by the panel in bookmaker style, not matched between users, so your bet is accepted at once but the gap between back and lay is wider. PKL league matches can end tied, so check how the panel lists and settles a tie before your first bet. The rules tab covers it.

🔢 Total Points

When offered, this is a line on the combined score of both teams. Modern PKL matches usually finish somewhere in the 60s or 70s. Two raid-heavy sides push it higher, and two strong defences can keep it in the 50s. Treat older articles quoting lines of 40 with care, because the scoring has gone up over the seasons.

🏆 All-Outs Change Everything

When a team has all seven players out, the other side gets 2 extra points and the whole team comes back on. A side with two men left on the mat is about to give away a 5 or 6 point swing, and the live price usually shows it before the scoreboard does. If you back a team that is leading, count how many players they have on court.

📺 Live Kabaddi

A raid lasts 30 seconds, so there is hardly a quiet moment to place a bet. Markets suspend often and limits are low. Small stakes make sense here. The last five minutes are their own game. The leading team slows down with empty raids, and the trailing team has to take risks in do-or-die raids. Big late comebacks happen, but less often than they seem to.

🌎 Usually listed: Pro Kabaddi League matches through the season and playoffs. International kabaddi such as the Asian Games or Asian Championship appears now and then, often with match winner only.

🎾 Tennis Betting on ReddyBook

Two players, no draw, and a price that changes after every point. Tennis runs eleven months a year, so there is nearly always a match open somewhere.

🏆 Match Odds

The main market, and for most matches the only busy one. With no draw, backing Player A and laying Player B are nearly the same bet, so take whichever side gives the better number. Men play best of five sets at Grand Slams and best of three elsewhere. The longer format favours the stronger player, which is why favourites are shorter at Slams.

🎲 Set Betting

A bet on the exact score in sets, such as 2-0 or 2-1. It is listed mainly for bigger tournaments. It is handy when a favourite is too short to bother with. If a player is 1.20 to win, 2-0 may be around 1.70. You give up the cover of a dropped set, so it suits clear mismatches and not two evenly matched baseliners.

🎯 Serve Decides the Price

In the men's game the server wins most games, so a break of serve is a big event and a hold is not. A player at 2.00 who breaks early in a set might be 1.55 a minute later. On fast grass or indoor courts breaks are rare and prices move in a few large steps. On clay, and in much of the women's game, breaks are common and the price moves back and forth more.

⚡ Retirements and Rain

Players do retire hurt mid-match. How your bet is settled then depends on the panel rule. Commonly, bets stand if at least one set was completed and are void otherwise, but read the rules tab before you bet. A medical timeout will move the price sharply before anything is announced. Rain delays outdoors can leave your money tied up until the next day.

A worked example: backing the underdog, then getting out

You back the underdog at 3.00 for ₹300. She breaks serve in the third game and her price drops to 2.00. You lay her for ₹450 at 2.00, a liability of ₹450.

  • She wins: +₹600 on the back bet, −₹450 on the lay. Net +₹150.
  • She loses: −₹300 on the back bet, +₹450 on the lay. Net +₹150.

You did not need her to win the match, only to have a good ten minutes. The reverse is equally true. If she gets broken first, her price goes to 4.50 or beyond, and closing will cost you about a third of your stake. In tennis, decide your exit number before the first ball, because the price will not wait while you think.

🌎 Usually listed: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open, the ATP and WTA 1000 events such as Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Rome, the year-end Finals, and most weekly ATP and WTA tour matches. Challenger matches are sometimes listed, with very little money in them.

🐎 Horse Racing Betting on ReddyBook

Racing is the hardest market on the panel for a beginner. Many runners, long odds and races that are over in two minutes. If the Racing tab is on your panel, this is how it works.

🏆 Win Market

Every runner has a back and a lay price. Most of the money comes in during the last ten minutes before the start, so prices you see an hour earlier are rough and hard to get matched at. Meetings from the UK and Ireland run through the Indian afternoon and evening, and Australian racing is on in our early morning.

🎲 Place Market

A separate market on a horse finishing in the first two, three or four, depending on how many run. The odds are shorter and the ride is calmer. An exchange has no each-way button. If you want that effect, you place one bet in the win market and another in the place market yourself.

💰 Laying a Horse

In a 12-runner race eleven horses lose, so laying looks easy. The risk is in the odds. Lay a horse at 12.0 for ₹100 and your liability is ₹1,100. Ten of those can win and the eleventh wipes out the lot. New users should lay only short-priced runners, if they lay at all, and should look at the liability figure every time.

📺 Non-Runners and In-Running

When a horse is withdrawn late, exchange rules usually apply a reduction factor to bets already matched, which lowers the odds you got. It is normal, not an error. Some races also stay open while the race is being run. Pictures reach your phone seconds late and other people have faster feeds. Honestly, leave in-running alone.

🌎 Usually listed: daily UK and Irish meetings, the big festivals such as Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, the Grand National and the Epsom Derby, and Australian cards including the Melbourne Cup. What is offered differs from panel to panel, so ask your agent if racing matters to you.

🏸 Badminton Betting on ReddyBook

Best of three games, each to 21 points, and a point scored on every rally. Interest in India rises whenever Sindhu, Lakshya Sen or Satwik and Chirag go deep in a tournament.

🏆 Match Winner

Normally the only market on offer. Singles results are more predictable than doubles, where the top pairs beat each other all the time. Early rounds of a BWF event are played on several courts at once, and not every court gets a listed market, so the match you want may not be there until the quarter-finals.

🎯 Runs of Points

Since every rally scores, runs of five or six points in a row are common, and an 11-6 lead at the interval is not safe. The price reacts too strongly to these runs more often than in tennis. A favourite who loses the first game 21-18 is often still the better bet at the bigger price, as long as the loss was not down to an injury.

⚡ Live Betting and Small Markets

A game takes about 15 to 20 minutes, so everything happens quickly. The amounts available are small. Outside the finals of major events you may find only a few thousand rupees on each side. Keep stakes low, and assume you may have to hold the bet to the finish instead of closing it.

🌎 Usually listed: BWF World Championships, All England Open, India Open, the Indonesia, Malaysia and China Opens, World Tour Finals, the Thomas, Uber and Sudirman Cups, and the Olympics. Coverage is best from the quarter-finals onward.

🏀 More Sports on ReddyBook

These tabs are quieter. Some are open all year and some appear only around a big event. A line or two on each, with the thing worth knowing.

🏆 Basketball

Mostly NBA, which tips off between 5 am and 9 am Indian time, so it suits early risers. Match winner is the usual market and it includes overtime. A 15-point lead means far less here than a two-goal lead in football. NBA teams overturn them regularly, so a live price that looks too generous often is not.

🥊 Boxing & MMA

Listed for big UFC cards and title fights, usually only the fight winner. A boxing match can end in a draw, so check whether the draw is a selection or whether bets are void if it happens. Cards from the US run on Sunday morning in India. Fights get cancelled at the weigh-in more often than you would think, and bets are refunded.

⛳ Golf

Tournament winner markets for the four Majors and some PGA Tour weeks. With 150 players in the field even the favourite is around 8.0 or 10.0, and your money is tied up for four days. Laying players here carries the same long-odds liability trap as horse racing. This one is for people who already follow golf closely.

🚗 Formula 1 & Motorsport

Race winner, when it is listed at all. Qualifying on Saturday tells you most of what you need, so the pre-qualifying price is where any value sits. After that the pole sitter is usually very short. Rain, safety cars and first-lap incidents are what upset the order.

🎱 Snooker

Match winner on the World Championship, UK Championship and Masters. Matches are long, with sessions spread over a day or two, and the gaps between frames give you time to think, which is rare in live betting. Markets are small, so keep to modest stakes.

🏓 Table Tennis

Often open round the clock, because minor leagues play short matches all day. Be careful with this tab. The players are little known, there is almost no public form to study, and the markets are thin. If you cannot name either player, that is a good reason to skip the match.

🛠 Placing Your First Non-Cricket Bet

Setting up the account is the same as for cricket. The steps below focus on what to do differently. If you are new to betting altogether, our betting tips for beginners are worth ten minutes first.

1

💬 Get an ID, or Use the One You Have

New users message an agent on WhatsApp with a name and mobile number and must be 18 or older. Existing users do nothing. There is no separate sports account and nothing to switch on.

2

💰 Top Up Before the Agent Sleeps

The minimum first deposit is usually ₹500 by UPI. If your match is a 1.30 am Champions League kick-off, add the money in the evening. Agents do not always reply after midnight, and a deposit sent then may only be credited in the morning.

3

🔎 Pick a Big Match First

Start with a top football league game or a main-tour tennis match, where plenty of money is waiting on both sides. Look at the amounts under the prices. If the back and lay prices are far apart, say 2.10 and 2.40, the market is thin and you will lose money just getting in and out.

4

📝 Read How the Market Settles

The mistake to avoid is knowing the sport but not the rule. Football is settled on 90 minutes, basketball includes overtime, and tennis retirements follow their own rule. Open the rules tab once for each sport you plan to bet on. Then place a small first bet of ₹100 or ₹200.

5

📈 Close the Bet or Let It Run

You can exit early by taking the opposite side, as in the draw and tennis examples above. In thin markets this may not be possible at a fair price, so only stake what you are willing to leave until the final whistle. Winnings are added to your balance after settlement.

💭 Sports Betting FAQ

Questions that come up once people move beyond the cricket tab. For anything about your own account, your agent on WhatsApp is the person to ask.

Apart from cricket, the panel usually lists football, tennis, kabaddi, horse racing, badminton, basketball, table tennis and a few others, with boxing, MMA, golf and Formula 1 appearing around big events. Football and tennis are open almost every day. The rest depend on the calendar, and smaller events have far less money in their markets.
There is no separate sports ID. Message an agent on WhatsApp with your name and mobile number, make a first deposit (the usual minimum is Rs 500 by UPI), and the agent sends the panel address, user ID and a temporary password in the same chat. That one login opens cricket, every other sport and the casino section.
Yes, for most football and tennis matches and for the bigger kabaddi, badminton and basketball fixtures. Live bets have a delay of a few seconds, and markets suspend at key moments such as a goal, a penalty or a medical timeout. You cannot place or close a bet while a market is suspended.
Backing is betting that something happens, and the most you can lose is your stake. Laying is betting that it does not happen: you win the stake if you are right, and pay stake times (odds minus 1) if you are wrong. In football you can lay the draw, in tennis a player, in racing a horse. The mechanics are the same in every sport.
Because football match odds are settled on the score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. A cup tie that goes to extra time was level at 90 minutes, so the winning selection in that market is The Draw. Some knockout matches carry a separate "to qualify" market that does include extra time and penalties. If you want to bet on who goes through, use that one.
Yes, PKL matches are usually listed through the season with a match winner market, and sometimes a total points line. Limits are lower than in cricket or football and markets suspend often during play. League-stage matches can end tied, so read how your panel settles a tie before you bet.
It depends on the rule your panel follows. A common version is that match odds bets stand if at least one set was completed, with the player who goes through counted as the winner, and are void if the retirement comes before that. Other versions exist. Look under the tennis section of the rules tab and you will not be surprised later.
Most panels have a Racing tab with win and place markets on UK, Irish and Australian meetings, but it is not the same everywhere, so ask your agent. There is no each-way, forecast or tricast button on an exchange. If you are new, be very careful about laying horses at long odds, because the liability is many times your stake.
The usual minimum first deposit is ₹500, paid by UPI or bank transfer to the details your agent sends. The balance is shared across all sports and the casino. If an agent offers a bonus, ask what turnover it needs before a withdrawal is allowed, and get the answer before you deposit. 18+ only.
In sports with thin markets this happens often. On an exchange someone has to take the other side of your bet. If you ask for ₹2,000 at 2.40 and only ₹300 is available at that price, ₹300 is matched and the rest waits. You can leave it, cancel it, or accept the next price down. Unmatched bets usually lapse when the event ends, and the stake is returned to your balance.
